 Dumbing Down Of Love - Music Video

Below is the first video I directed for Imogen Heap, back when she was part of the duo Frou Frou.

The technology behind it was something Andrew Bell, of Method Studios, and I developed together. It was a long process (two years) and something I'm very proud of. The code was written in C++, and Andrew built in creative controls that opened the door to a ton of beautiful discoveries.

After all that work, my wish of simply making it into ResFest came true. Seeing our creation premiere on that massive screen at the Palace of Fine Arts in San Francisco was an extremely moving experience.

It was only the second video I'd directed, and the international ResFest audience voted it best video of the year. I was beside myself. The show was full of incredible work, much of it by my favorite directors. It was well beyond a dream come true.
